Rick, 4-0 defeat today in the FA Cup vs Hyde. What were your thoughts on the 90?

Rick: Very disappointing from our perspective, the first 15 minutes of the game we were very poor and that killed the game for us. Not taking anything away from Hyde who were excellent but after 3 clean sheets in our last 3 games we were very disappointed. We had a couple of good chances before half time to get a foothold in the game but didnt take them. We knew the first goal in the second half was crucial, if we had got it we could have had a real go at getting back into the game. Unfortunately for us, Hyde were ruthless with how they took their chances and they really deserved the win today.

From the display, did you see any positives for Rylands?

Rick: Not too many today, but we did make a few good chances but didnt manage to take any of them today.

Like you say really disappointing, you had been on a bit of a run of 3 games winning after a poor start, what do you think was the key thing missing from the display today that you had in your previous 3 that you won in?

Rick: Hard to put a finger on it to be honest, conceding an early goal didnt help at all, from that we were chasing the game and it allowed Hyde to very effectively counter us. Just a very bad day at the office for us.

Finally, a week to dust yourself down as the Warrington derby was postponed due to Town having a replay before you play Marske next Saturday, what are your thoughts on that game?

Rick: It is a great opportunity to bounce back and put this result firmly behind us and get back to a positive performance and hopefully a result.
